Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 7, 2026

This policy explains what Product Statement Builder handles when you visit the website, use the free worksheet, copy text, export a card, create a share URL, or contact us.

At a glance

  • No account is required to use the builder.
  • Statement text is processed in your browser and is not intentionally stored on our servers.
  • We use optional Google Analytics measurement. We do not use ads, remarketing, or ad personalization.
  • We do not sell personal information.

1. Contact

Product Statement Builder is a free website available at productstatement.com. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@productstatement.com. For general support, email support@productstatement.com.

2. Information we handle

Statement content

The text you enter into the builder is used in your browser to update the worksheet, preview the statement, copy text, create a share URL, and export a statement card. We do not intentionally send that statement text to our servers.

If you create a share URL, the field values are included in the URL fragment. Anyone you share that URL with may be able to read those values.

Site, analytics, and support information

Like most websites, hosting and network systems may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamps, and error data. If Google Analytics is enabled for your visit, it may process usage information such as pages viewed, clicks, device and browser information, and approximate location. If you email us, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate the website, provide the builder, diagnose problems, protect the site from misuse, understand which pages and features are useful, respond to messages, and comply with legal obligations.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on legitimate interests for site reliability, security, support, and product improvement; consent where required for optional analytics cookies; and legal obligations where applicable.

4. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Tag Manager to manage Google Analytics measurement. We use Google Consent Mode so analytics storage is controlled by regional defaults and your cookie choice. We do not use Google Ads, remarketing, ad personalization, or advertising cookies.

You can change your choice from Cookie settings in the footer. For more detail, read the Cookie Policy.

5. Sharing and providers

We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers for hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, and email. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

6. Retention and security

Because statement text is not intentionally stored on our servers, we do not retain submitted statement text server-side. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and manage the request. Hosting logs and analytics records are kept according to the retention settings of the services that process them.

We use reasonable safeguards for a small public website, but no internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information about you. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator. To make a request, email privacy@productstatement.com.

You can clear local browser storage, delete cookies, or use Cookie settings in the footer to change optional analytics consent.

8. Children, third-party links, and changes

Product Statement Builder is not directed to children. This website may link to third-party websites or services, and their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the effective date above.
