Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 6, 2026

This policy explains how Product Statement Builder uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies.

At a glance

  • We use necessary local storage to remember your analytics preference.
  • Google Tag Manager may load with analytics storage denied by default; analytics cookies only load after you accept analytics.
  • We do not use marketing, remarketing, or advertising personalization cookies, and advertising consent stays denied.
  • Rejecting analytics does not block the core product statement builder.

1. Scope

This Cookie Policy applies to productstatement.com and should be read with the Privacy Policy. It covers cookies, local storage, and similar technologies used by Product Statement Builder.

2. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage is a browser storage area that can remember site preferences on the same device and browser. Similar technologies can help websites remember settings, measure usage, or keep features working.

Because this site has no accounts, we use these technologies narrowly: to remember your analytics choice and, if you accept, to enable optional analytics through Google Tag Manager.

3. How we use them

Strictly necessary preference storage

We store your analytics preference so the site can remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics and avoid asking on every visit.

Optional analytics

Product Statement Builder uses Google Tag Manager with analytics storage denied by default. If you accept analytics, we measure page views and broad site usage through tags configured in Google Tag Manager. Analytics page views use sanitized page paths.

We do not send statement fields, generated statements, clipboard contents, or share URL field values to analytics.

No advertising cookies

We do not use marketing cookies, remarketing tags, advertising personalization, Google Ads linking, or audience building at launch. Google advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization consent remain denied.

4. Cookies and storage details

Analytics event data retention is configured in the analytics tools connected through Google Tag Manager. Cookie names and durations may change if tag configuration or browser behavior changes.

5. Your choices

On your first visit, you can accept analytics, reject analytics, or manage preferences. You can change your choice later from the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

Rejecting or withdrawing analytics consent prevents future analytics loading. It also attempts to remove analytics cookies from this site. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

If you block all cookies or local storage in your browser, the builder should still work, but the site may not be able to remember your analytics preference.

6. Updates and contact

We may update this policy if our use of cookies, analytics, or browser storage changes. When updates are made, we will update the effective date above.
